Chipping

This covers a variety of shots such as a bump and run, pop/lob shot, from the rough/fairway/fringe and basically anything from inside 20 yards of the green and the Instrike technique can improve all of them.

The YIPS are most commonly seen here or when Putting and the question that needs to be answered is “why?” Let’s start by agreeing that you never hear of Driving yips or Fairway wood yips but in short game it’s common. (Too common unfortunately) The biggest difference here is that you use your body when hitting a Driver or making a full swing but when it comes to the short game your hands and arms take over and hey presto…. The YIPS can come into play.

What we have done with the Instrike technique is to make it as hard as possible for you to control this shot with your hands and arms but as easy as possible for you to start using your body which will help tremendously in giving you a more consistent perfect strike time after time.
